Deborah Freedman, a Soho based
painter and set designer has capitalized on her experience in
fine arts and fashion (her father manufactured clothing for
designers Isaac Mizrahi, Donna Karan, Anne Klein and Perry Ellis)
to create custom backdrops for some of the industry's leading
clients: Saks Fifth Avenue,Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Macy's,
etc. "She's a genius at achieving exactly the look I'm
after." says photographer Palma Kolansky.
Drive In Studios in NYC has over 150 backdrops by Deborah Freedman
available for rent. "Deborah's backdrops offer the photographers
